To prepare for the upcoming German federal election, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Japan is organising Pre-election and Post-election events with current members of the Bundestag to provide deeper insight and more comprehensive knowledge both leading up to and after the election. The second of the two events “After the Voting: What Happens Next?” will be with Mr. Jürgen Hardt (Member of the German Bundestag, Foreign policy spokesperson of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group) on the morning (German time) after the election of the 20th German Bundestag.

Topics to be discussed:

– Analysis of the results of the election and – if foreseeable – possible government coalitions

– The possible effects including but not limited to domestic and foreign policy
